Prothrombin Complex Concentrate （PCC） is a combination of several blood clotting factors II， VII， IX and X. PCC is used in the treatment of the congenital bleeding disorders associated with Factors II， VII， IX， and X deficiencies. PCC reverses the effect of warfarin （a coumarin anti-coagulant） and is used in cases of significant bleeding in patients with a coagulopathy， for example， gastrointestinal haemorrhage or intracranial haemorrhage. The PCC is also extensively used in treating acquired coagulation abnormalities secondary to vitamin K deficiency， warfarin ingestion， and various types of liver disease.
Hepatitis， anaphylaxis and thrombosis have been reported as complications of prothrombin complex concentrates administration.

Sterile Filtered White lyophilized （freeze-dried） powder. Lyophilized Powder from 0.1M sodium chloride and 10mM sodium citrate buffer. It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Prothrombin Complex in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O.

保存建议

Lyophilized Prothrombin-Complex although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks， should be stored desiccated below -18℃. Upon reconstitution Prothrombin-Complex should be stored at 4℃ between 2-7 days and for future use below -18℃. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein （0.1% HSA or BSA）. Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
