Cetuximab can specifically bind to EGF receptors expressed on the surface of normal cells and a variety of cancer cells, and competitively block EGF and other ligands, such as α Transforming growth factor (TGF- α） A combination of. This product is an IgG1 monoclonal antibody against EGF receptor. After specific combination, it blocks the signal transduction pathway in cells by inhibiting the tyrosine kinase (TK) bound to EGF receptor, thereby inhibiting the proliferation of cancer cells, inducing apoptosis of cancer cells, and reducing the production of matrix metalloproteinases and vascular endothelial growth factor.

Cetuximab is mainly an anti-tumor targeting drug, which is a monoclonal antibody against epidermal growth factor receptor. It can inhibit the vascular growth factor secreted by tumor cells and reduce the neogenesis and metastasis of tumor blood vessels.
