The 3300 XL 8mm Proximity Sensor System includes:

A 3300 XL 8mm probe,

One 3300 XL extension cable 1, and

One 3300 XL Proximitor * Sensor 2.

The output voltage provided by the system is proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface, and can measure static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values. The main applications of this system are vibration and position measurement on liquid film bearing machines, as well as keyphasor * reference and speed measurement 3.

The 3300 XL probe and extension cable also reflect improvements to previous designs. The patented TipLoc * molding method provides a stronger bond between the probe tip and the probe body. The probe cable adopts a patented CableLoc * design that can provide a tensile force of 330 N (75 lbf) to securely connect the probe cable to the probe tip. You can also order a 3300 XL 8mm probe and extension cable with an optional FluidLoc * cable option. This option prevents oil and other liquids from leaking from inside the cable to the outside of the machine.
